SIG Values

The values of IPMA special interest groups vary depending on the particular group and its members, but in general they include:

  1. Community – all special interest groups are created around a shared interest or passion, and members value the sense of belonging that comes with being a part of the group
  2. Knowledge sharing – members of a special interest group have the access to best practice, participate in conversations around emerging trends and practices, share ideas and experiences, and collaborate
  3. Professional development – opportunities to develop skills and expertise in particular area of interest
  4. Inclusivity – welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and experiences, and actively working to promote diversity and equity within the group
  5. Integrity – based on IPMA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and values that guide their activities and behaviour towards professionalism, such as respect, accountability, transparency etc.
