Mohammad Mahoud

Mohammad Mahoud is currently a Visiting Lecturer & Teaching/ Research Assistant for the post-graduate Construction/ Project Management students at the University. In addition to this, he is a PhD candidate in Project & Construction Management and holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management. Since 2017, due to his scientific and research background, he is an international reviewer of the Infrastructure Asset Management Journal – Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers (From UK), since 2020, the Asian Journal of Civil Engineering (Building and Housing) from proceedings of the Springer Nature, since 2021, Editorial Board Member of the Project Leadership and Society Journal from proceedings of the ELSEVIER, and since 2022, the Journal of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering from Science Publishing Group (USA). In his professional career, he has often held executive and managerial positions in R&D Institutes and during these years, he has been educated as a trainer (ToT) in Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Business Management based on the learning model LENA by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WIFI) which is acknowledged by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth, Erasmus+ and UEAPME. From that year onwards, he began his career as the assistant project manager, marketing and business development manager and took on the duty of holding training courses for Small and Medium Industries and Industrial Parks Organization inside and outside industrial settlements and promoting the development of educational culture, which left an admirable output. He has been working closely with the IPMA MA since 2014 and has been working on positions such as interpreter and secretary of the international service of the newsletter, strategic communication and business development, and market research expert, host of the summits, as well as a member of the executive team (coordinator) at the National Project Management Day and Project Excellence Awards. It is worth mentioning that he is the first Iranian to be a Judge at the accredited Global Individual Achievement Awards of the IPMA:

  • In May 2018, he was appointed as the Leader/ Contact Person of the Iran Young Crew.
  • In February 2019, he has been selected as Judge of the IPMA Young Project Manager of the Year Award (YPMY).
  • In January 2020, he has been selected as Judge of the IPMA YC Global eCollaboration Competition (GeCCo).
  • In June 2020, he has been selected as Judge of the IPMA Project Manager of the Year Award (PMY).
  • In September 2020, he has been nominated as the candidate for the IPMA Young Crew Chairperson Election.
  • In January 2021, he has been selected as Judges’ Coordinator from IPMA YPMY and Local Organizers Management for Asian Countries.
