SIGs consist of individuals who share a common interest or passion for particular subjects, regularly organize interactive learning to study how to do things better.

Lessons learning is a goal, but there are other objectives as well—promoting industry development, setting new standards, creating deliverables that promote industry development, conducting training, and establishing connections with peers. The program “International Engineering Green Supply Chain” has completed a series of works in recent 5 years, the Supply Chain SIG will be built on this platform, expanding the focus to a broader range of areas.

SIG focus areas

  • Leading Engineering and Construction industry development by conducting industry chain and supply chain research, in order to promote the transformation and upgrading of international engineering supply chains

  • Expanding the partner network by building platforms for strategic research, experience sharing, supply-demand docking, and business promotion to facilitate collaborative innovation and integrated development among all relevant parties in the supply chain

  • Promoting innovative applications by setting standards, selecting excellence, and establishing role models, conducting supply chain evaluation work; lessons learning and promotion through evaluation and promotions of the best practices

  • Strengthening capacity building by conducting professional training to enhance the overall level of supply chain management

  • Promoting knowledge sharing by collecting and publishing industry information, and exchanging and sharing advanced supply chain concepts, innovative technologies, and development trends
