The Special Interest Group on Energy (SIG Energy) of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) is excited to announce a webinar, “Powering the Future: Navigating the Transforming Energy Landscape”, featuring the global head of SIG Energy and high energy physicist Dr. Irina Shreyber and distinguished high energy physicists Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Beck, as they share their expertise on the latest developments and emerging trends in the energy sector. The webinar will cover the latest state of the global energy sector, including renewable and nuclear energy, and highlight the key challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the global energy sector. This webinar promises to be an engaging and informative event for all professionals interested in staying ahead of the curve in the evolving energy landscape.
Speaker
Dr. Hans Peter Beck
Particle physicist and reader at the Physics Department of the University of Bern, visiting professor at University Fribourg, senior physicist at CERN, and former president of the Swiss Physical Society

Dr. Hans Peter Beck teaches particle physics courses in Bern and Fribourg and also gives basic physics courses to medical students. He received his PhD from the University of Zurich on electron-proton collisions with the H1 experiment at the HERA accelerator at DESY in Hamburg, Germany. He is a member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and his main interest is in the physics of the Standard Model at the highest energies and in searches for new physics beyond the current understanding of nature.
