The webinar aims to speak to the role of DEI, when made integral part of the organization’s culture, in making the collaborations among stakeholders – both internal, external – meaningful, engaging, strong, and cohesive to synergize ideas, innovations, and combined efforts to understand, identify, and solve business problems. As an open system, from systems thinking standpoint, such type of collaboration that has very close social interactions among people brings in external inputs and feedback so that the organization, the system, can thrive in the time continuum of VUCA world.

Anuradha Khanal
Director, Global Policy & Advocacy

Anu comes to MNM from the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids (TFK), where she served on the global leadership team. She was concurrently with the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), in 2015 as one of its founding members and over the next seven years overseeing policy and budget advocacy for NCDs and injury prevention in the global South. Her decade long work at TFK and GHAI included successful tobacco control policy advocacy in high burden countries of Asia, budget advocacy for a maternal and reproductive health program in Tanzania; Testing, scaling and sustaining a national drowning prevention program in Vietnam; and Building the advocacy ecosystem and strengthening capacity of local partners for road safety policy campaigns in India, Tanzania and Thailand.

Asmita Manandhar is an experienced professional adept in communication and human rights. She has a strong background in devising strategies, fostering collaborations, and delivering impactful results. Skilled in digital media, content creation, and team leadership, she is committed to promoting positive change through effective communication and collaboration.

She is currently engaged with Swisscontact Nepal as Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist. Her previous experiences includes working in the field of journalism as well as development communications.

Deepti Thakuri Basnyat
HR Strategic Business Partner for the commercial at Coca-Cola Beverages Nepal

With over a decade within the Coke system, Deepti’s journey began in the HR domain at one of the leading FMCG companies. Over time, she nurtured her HR management skills across two other organizations, evolving from an HR officer to a manager, and now, to a Strategic Business Partner. Embarking on this journey, has been a thrilling experience and she has not looked back since.

As the Chairman of the DEI Council at Coca-Cola Beverages Nepal, she is deeply passionate about aligning HR and DEI strategies with their business objectives. Her goal is to cultivate an environment of inclusivity, where every individual feels empowered to contribute their best.

Dr. Tikajit Rai
Global Head of IPMA SIG Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI)

Dr. Tikajit Rai has over 20 years of PPPM experience in leading capacity in EdTech, wireless technology, and software development spaces. Also, a champion in social entrepreneurship, he won the 2013 IPMA “Gold” for Community Development Project and the 2013 Green Project Management “Silver” for Most Sustainable Project for the project he implemented in Nepal to help rural farmers through ICT. His mantra for successful project and program deliveries has been his favorite quartet: PPPM, Systems Thinking, Entrepreneurial Change, Enabling Thrivability of teams. For him, the last of the quartet focuses on people and DEI is key element of the mantra.

He currently leads and supports both projects and programs at Adtalem Global Education, USA, through LearnoVation team to research, test and scale innovative learning technologies – includes AR/VR, AI, Avatar based simulations – across five education institutions to support its collective 80K+ students succeed academically.

He is an active IPMA PE Assessor and has an active PMP certification. He holds Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, Master of Science in Information and Communications Technology, and Ph.D. in eLearning Methodology.
